Site Planning History The proposals represent the third and final phase of the Mill Bridge Housing Development. The planning history for the initial phases are detailed below. Phase 1 In December 2017, permission was granted by Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council for the first phase of Mill Bridge residential development consisting of 45no. dwellings, under Planning Reference: LA03/2016/1089/F. Construction of these dwellings are completed, and multiple dwellings are now occupied. For context, a copy of the approved Phase 1 Site Layout is included at Figure 5. Phase 2 In June 2022, Mill Bridge ‘Phase 2’ was approved by Council for the development of 55no. dwellings under Planning Reference: LA03/2021/0548/F. This development is currently under construction, a copy of the approved Phase 2 Site Layout is included in Figure 6.
