Bridge, providing c.130 no. – 150no. high quality homes in a variety of types suitable for a range of family sizes. The housing mix will also promote a range of affordable homes suitable for first time buyers including eligibility for co-ownership. • The proposal incorporates substantial areas of landscaped communal open space, making it an attractive place to live. Provision shall also be made for an equipped children’s play area. • The proposal also makes provision for road upgrades in the locality including the proposed signalisation of the Hydepark Road and Mallusk Road junction; and a bus turning circle allows for public transport improvements to serve the local community. • It represents a significant investment of c.£20 million into the local economy by Hyde Park Road Developments Ltd. • The proposal will support c.60no. direct and indirect construction jobs and local apprenticeships over a 5-year build period with the economic impact set to positively benefit suppliers and subcontractors in the area.
