TSA Planning Hyde Park Phase 3 Community A1 Consultat

Traffic & Transport The planning application will be accompanied by a Transport Statement which will consider the impact of the proposed development upon the surrounding infrastructure for walking, cycling, public transport and private car usage. Improvements to the local road infrastructure includes the proposed signalisation of the Mallusk Road / Hydepark Road junction (as per Figure 9 ).

The Transport Statement will factor in the enhancements to Public Transport. Existing bus stops are between 640m and 800m from Mill Bridge (8 – 10-minute walk) and an opportunity exists, in consultation with Translink, to provide a bus turning circle at the entrance to Mill Bridge (see Figure 10 ). The Transport Statement will also consider the opportunity for enhancements to the existing active travel routes within the area.

Provision of Bus Turning Circle at Entrance to Site which will bring Public Transport Services directly to the site serving existing Phase 1, under construction Phase 2 and proposed Phase 3 lands.
