Andrew Nethery Assistant Referee 1 Andrew completed the referee beginners course in 2013 before making the transition to Assistant Referee early in his career. After a few years of building his experience in the lower tiers he was promoted to the NIFL Premiership seven years ago and since then he has completed over 200 games. Andrew was promoted to the FIFA list in 2020. During the past five years he has taken part in more than 30 matches across Europe, from youth level up to international, with one of the notable fixtures being Republic of Ireland v Qatar in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium. This is his second Irish Cup Final, his first coming in 2021 when Linfield faced Larne. Adam Jeffrey Assistant Referee 2 Adam began refereeing in 2013 at the age of 19, specialising as an Assistant Referee from the 2014-15 season. He was promoted to the NIFL Premiership in 2016-17 and has since gone on to officiate over 200 games in the division. He has also taken part in matches in European competitions. Adam attended the UEFA CORE programme in 2019, going on to become a FIFA Assistant Referee in 2021. He acted as Assistant Referee in the 2020 League Cup Final and also the 2021 Irish Cup Final. In 2023 he attended the UEFA U17 Euros alongside Jamie Robinson. Chris Morrison Fourth Official Chris has been refereeing since he was 20 years old. This is his fourth season as an Irish Premiership official. He was involved in the Co Antrim Shield Final in 2022-23 where he acted as fourth official. He said: “Finals are always a great occasion and it will be an honour to be part of this one. “Personally I would not be involved at this level without the support of many people along my journey, too many to name. “However, I would give a special mention to my partner Siobhán as without her I would not be where I am in my career today.” Brian Wilson Reserve Assistant Referee Brian switched from playing intermediate football to refereeing in late 2017 and opted to specialise as an Assistant Referee. He officiated in the 2018 Steel and Sons Cup Final prior to progressing to the NIFL Championship. Promotion to the Premiership panel followed in 2022-23. He is now at the end of his second season in the top tier. He was Additional AR for the 2023 League Cup Final and Assistant Referee for the 2024 League Cup Final, adding to his three international (U21 and ‘C’) matches to date. Being involved today caps off a good season for Brian.
