THE AUCTION PROCESS

1.Instruction & Valuation

Completed Instruction Form along with images sent to jewellery@wilsonsauctions.com. Desktop Valuation provided within 48 hours of receipt.

2. Confirmation of Contract & Asset Collection Signing of the Contract with agreed deliverables. Suitable transportation is arranged at agreed dates & times.

3. Auction Preparation Robust inspection undertaken of the asset and a revised valuation provided, as necessary. Detailed imagery & videography actioned and added to our bespoke auction platform.

4. Bespoke Marketing Bespoke marketing plan agreed in-house with our award-winning marketing team.

5.Reporting

Pre-Sale, During Sale and Post-Sale reports issued at agreed times.

6. Payment Prompt payment to the client utilising the faster payment banking system.

Cost for this service is 10% of the sale price deducted from the sale proceeds. No sale no fee.

To complement this, we have a panel of independent accredited professionals that can be called upon at any time. Our handpicked panel come with a wealth of skills and experience and is registered with a multitude of bodies such as the Institute of Registered Valuers and the National Association of Goldsmiths.

Our experts, working globally, provide thousands of valuations each year for an array of clients such as private individuals, traders, and Government agencies.

TRANSPORT & STORAGE Wilsons Auctions, as the largest independent auction service provider in the UK and Ireland, offers unrivalled coverage across the entire UK and Ireland. We provide transportation in accordance with our proven management system, accredited to ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental). This is designed to make the process seamless and stress-free for each client. Once you have received your valuation and you have decided to proceed with auction disposal, our transport department will arrange secure and insured collection and delivery.

Upon the delivery of your items, you will receive a

receipt, which will form your contract with Wilsons Auctions and outline the agreed fees. It will also list estimates, reserve prices and proposed auction dates. We will not sell your item(s) if it fails to reach the reserve at auction.

Our bespoke online auction platform is open for all to use and allows registered bidders to bid seamlessly from any location around the world, maximising exposure of each asset and in turn maximising returns.

Our timed online auctions give bidders a predetermined window to participate in an auction.

Customers can bid at their own convenience or submit a maximum bid, which allows the system to bid on their behalf.

Timed online auctions are visible to everyone visiting the website, not just registered bidders, with all Lots and hammer totals visible throughout the duration of the auctions.
