The Royal Belfast Golf Club - Your Guide to Rooms and Facilities

The McGee Room The most beautiful view. Book it for someone you want to impress.

Miss Catherine Elisabeth McGee was the founder of Ladies Golf at Royal Belfast and the first Honorary Secretary of the Ladies Branch — a pioneering figure in a Club, the room named in her honour is one of the jewels of the Clubhouse. Intimate, beautifully proportioned, and with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out across the course and Belfast Lough, the McGee Room is the kind of space that makes people stop talking and simply look. The views are that good. On a clear day, you can see for miles across the Lough — and as the sun sets over the course below, the view is something you will not easily forget. Available for day-to-day dining and bookable for private occasions. If you are planning a special lunch — a birthday, an anniversary, a celebration that deserves a proper setting — this is the room to request.
