Until the Council has adopted its Local Plans Policies all applications will continue to be considered under the lands designations provided by BNMAP (2015). The site is located within the settlement limit of Dromore, partially within the Town Centre and partially on land zoned for housing (DE 18) as depicted below.

The part of the site within the town centre is zoned as a Development opportunity Sites (DE 32) as depicted below.
