If you feel that your work performance or your health is suffering because of stress-related matters, whether those matters are occurring outside the workplace or within the work environment, you should first raise this with your direct line manager. A meeting will be arranged with you to discuss the matter with a view to taking the appropriate steps to remove the cause of the stress or to assist you to deal with it. This may include evaluating the amount and complexity of your workload, and your work environment. However, please note that if you do not tell the Company you are suffering from stress and unable to cope or if the Company is unaware that you have a particular problem or vulnerability, we will not be in a position to help you. Positive about Mental Health - We are positive about mental health at Platinum and want our people to know they can talk about any problems they may have openly and in confidence and without fear of being judged, persecuted or ignored. We have a range of support in place to help you if you’re affected by mental ill-health conditions. If you’ve an existing or developing mental health condition that you need help with, always talk to your manager about this. Our Employee Assistance Programme is there to make sure you get the help and support you need. 20.
