Northern Ireland v Luxembuourg (05/09/2024)

Northern Ireland, ranked 73rd in the world compared to Andorra in 164th place, took control from the start and enjoyed lots of possession. On 16 minutes striker Callum Marshall cleverly skipped past his marker and fired in a cross which Conor Bradley neatly tucked away. Bradley got his second in the 22nd minute. Jamal Lewis provided the delivery and Bradley rose well to head the ball into the back of the net. Paul Smyth tormented the Andorrans, while Marshall, Lewis, Brodie Spencer and Dale Taylor

all had efforts on goal as Northern Ireland went in search of a third either side of half-time. In the second half Aaron Donnelly made his senior international debut among a raft of substitutions. One of those subs, Ross McCausland, looked lively when he entered the fray and produced an acrobatic attempt which drifted wide, while Bradley shot straight at the keeper.
