Vision Our vision for Loanends Primary School is to nurture kind, respectful and resilient children who have a love for learning. Our children will develop into confident well-rounded individuals with a strong sense of respect for themselves, others and the world around them.

At Loanends Primary School, we take pride in being a welcoming, rural school built on strong Christian and community values. Through supportive pastoral care and positive relationships, we nurture kindness, resilience, and mutual respect among pupils and staff. Our pupils are supported to be happy, curious, successful learners who develop essential life skills and the confidence to achieve beyond the classroom.

Mission In order to achieve our vision, we will… • Provide strong pastoral care, complemented by a Christian ethos which ensures every child is valued, known and celebrated.

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning within a stimulating environment, thoughtfully tailored to the strengths, needs, and interests of every learner, led by a dedicated staff team. • Provide a wealth of opportunities for children to explore their strengths and talents e.g productions, sport, drama, music and ICT. • Embed our core values in daily school life through supportive behaviour strategies, nurturing relationships, and purposeful assemblies that foster reflection and celebration. • Develop leadership skills in pupils and staff through responsibility roles, collaboration and opportunities to lead within and beyond the classroom. • Enjoy working in partnership with families, the local community and outside agencies to support the development of each member of the school community.
