Acoustic Flooring Materials

Damtec Standard Damtec Standard is the universal underlay, suitable for use in new builds and refurbishments. This product can be used under laminate, wood, carpet, ceramic tiles to reduce unwanted noise within your own four walls (and your neighbours) as well as complying with UK Building Regulations E. The product gives at least a 20dB reduction. Damtec Standard is fire resistant and has a high thermal conductivity providing excellent heat transfer from underfloor heating systems. The material is manufactured from waste rubber and cork which is mixed with polymer binder to form a purpose made resilient, acoustic matting, which has exceptionally good insulating qualities. It offers long term and high quality performance without ageing or collapsing. Acoustic matting is a resilient Document E compliant layer. Suitable for use as acoustic matting under most floor finishes such as ceramic tile, stone, vinyl, wood, carpet. Directly Under Floor Covering

Damtec Colour Damtec Colour is manufactured from natural raw materials (cork and rubber) making it an excellent insulation underlay for floors in residential and commercial buildings. This underlay is ideal below linoleum and PVC vinyl floor finishes since its plasticiser free formulation eliminates the need for a separating layer. Damtec Colour can be used with any floor finish to maximise footfall sound reduction. On its own the product gives at least a 20dB reduction.
