opening round. Despite a strong performance from the team and dominant defensive performances from James McKeown and some impressive attacking skills from Jack Mitchell, the game ended 0-0 and went to run-ins where Markethill came out on top. The season ended with a trip to Campbell College, where we saw the best team performance of the season. After going 1-0 down, the team rallied and put together a wonderful move that was finished off by Ewan Barry, bringing the score to 1-1. The team battled on to try and find a winner, however, instead we were unlucky to be on the wrong side of a last-minute goal from Campbell, which meant the game ended in a 2-1 loss. Throughout the season we saw commitment to training and matches from not only our u13’s but also the u12’s who were present at both training and matches, ensuring we had a strong squad with plenty of options available during each game. We want to thank each and every player for their commitment and attitude during the season, both in matches and in training. We hope to be able to see plenty of success and development throughout the coming years of hockey within Grosvenor. Mr M Nelson
