the season. A clean sheet and win no doubt in thanks to the emergence of John Craig and Keli Seneadza in both fullback positions, showing their ability both on and off the ball. Following this, we travelled to a strong Wallace side, where despite a solid team performance and an even better individual performance from goalkeeper Caleb Gowing, we found ourselves on the wrong side of a 1-0 scoreline when the final whistle was blown. A meeting again with Wallace a few weeks later saw another super performance from Caleb Gowing in goal; however, the team was unlucky to lose 2-0 against a very strong side. The latter half of the season brought around the cup competitions, and for the u13’s that meant the Bannister Bowl. The u13 squad showed plenty of commitment, heart and promise throughout the season. We have seen numerous players become more and more confident in their ability and become key parts of a strong side that will continue to develop in the coming seasons. It was not the start to the season we wanted, with a 2-0 loss to Methodist College kicking off our year. However, there were plenty of positives to build on and some clear stand out performances from Dylan Davison and captain Joseph Barr. In the coming weeks, the team put out a stellar performance against RBAI, coming away with a 2-0 win, before returning to Methody, looking for revenge after losing in the opening game of the season.
