of soft first-half scores. The second half saw further pressure, with Grosvenor struggling to maintain possession. Despite a spirited final 15 minutes and a late try, the game ended 23-12. It was a challenging season marked by injuries and low U14 Boys Rugby

squad numbers, but the boys showed great resilience and commitment throughout. Their effort and determination were never in question, and they should be proud of their progress and character. Mr S Johnston

The U14 rugby team enjoyed a productive season under the guidance of Mr Stevenson, Mr Kaymak and Mr Millar. From the outset of the season, Mr Stevenson demanded commitment and consistency in training, with the training week being loaded with training sessions and strength and conditioning commitments. The squad largely committed to these sessions, and those that attended all undoubtably improved both their physical and skill capabilities, resulting in improved personal performances on the pitch. The team was built around a strong pack of forwards, who seemingly enjoyed all physical aspects of play. Notable performances from Zane Greenlees, Ethan Cullan, Reuben Kingham and others ensured that the team often challenged the gain line in matches and were a force defensively around the breakdown. Breakout players included Colter Price and Jason Smith, both of whom have progressed to become

starting front row players in the current Medallion side. If their current trajectory can be maintained, I have no doubt they will become important players in future sides. The impact of Dominik Lipowski can also not be overstated, Dom revels in chaos during matches, and his unorthodox style causes significant disruption in opposition defences. In the backs Zach Braithwaite marshalled the team with aplomb and maturity beyond his years, whilst also captaining the side. Zach has the potential to become and excellent Out Half who can control games in the future, and I encourage him to continue to target his skill development across the next number of seasons. Jacob Cochrane and Zayn Ahmed offered pace and agility in the wider channels, often outrunning or wrong-footing defenders, often scoring multiple tries along the way. The breakout player was undoubtably Daniel Neill, who fully committed to the team, and as
