DRAMA & MUSIC
Music Department Music at Grosvenor Grammar School opens the door to a wealth of opportunities, offering pupils from Years 8-14 a platform to perform in competitions, participate in prestigious events, and develop their musical skills to a high standard. The extra-curricular music programme is integral to the school’s ethos in promoting Grosvenor’s 3Rs of Relationships, Respect and Responsibility. Throughout the academic year, pupils showcased their exceptional musical talents through a series of distinguished public performances. These included key school events such as the Celebration of Success, the Junior and Senior Prize Distribution Ceremonies, the Carol Service at St Anne’s Cathedral, the 80th Anniversary Spring Concert at the Ulster Hall, and numerous engagements with local organisations. As Head of Music, I warmly encourage all pupils who play a musical instrument or enjoy singing to participate in the following:
FAREWELL TO YEAR 14 – CLASS OF 2025 I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Year 14 pupils who have contributed to the school’s extra-curricular musical life during your time at Grosvenor. Your musicianship and leadership have been truly exemplary, and your presence has enriched our musical community. Please remember that you will always remain part of the Grosvenor Grammar School music family. I warmly encourage you to stay in touch and look forward to welcoming you to the Carol Service at St Anne’s Cathedral on Tuesday, 9th December 2025. I wish you every success, good health, and happiness in all your future endeavours. Miss R Foster
