CEIAG Department As always, it has been a busy year in the Careers Department and in the delivery of career related activities across various departments in the school. Alongside our usual classroom curriculum and research, pupils had the opportunity to develop skills and interests through various events and workshops. Some of these opportunities are advertised through our Careers Google Classroom and subject specific platforms, so it is worth keeping any eye on them regularly throughout the year. Amelia Wirzynkiewicz and Sophia Tong are two Year 13 pupils who took advantage of the information on Google Classroom. They applied and were accepted onto the Queen’s University Pathways Programme.
Jasmine Robinson applied successfully for the Ignite Leadership Programme which will see her gain a diploma in Personal and Career Development. Year 14 had a busy start to the year, finalising UCAS applications and preparing for MMI’s with the help of our past pupils. A number of pupils have been offered places on some very competitive courses. A special mention must be given to Finlay Moore and Suzy Zhang who went through a rigorous process to be offered places at Cambridge and Oxford. Suzy was also been offered a place in the prestigious L’ecole Polytechnique, in Paris.
We also had some Y14 pupils who successfully completed the same programme.
