I know I will always cherish. I was always afforded the opportunity to improve my musical skills alongside peers who were equally as passionate, and to show leadership in guiding and assisting younger pupils. Debating Society was where I met some of my closest friends, and I am so proud when I look back on how much the team has grown and how much we achieved together. Everyone likes to think that their year group is the most hilarious and outrageous of them all, and I share this sentiment. It really has taken me the full seven years to appreciate the characters and personalities I have met, and to be fond of the dynamics between staff and pupils. For so many of those memories, you simply had to have been there, and despite the stress of exam classes, the banter and gossip I have had over the years has been absolutely amazing. Mr Magill branded me a “horrible girl” in GCSE Chemistry, as my constant nagging with questions was supposedly headache-inducing, and I am sure that Mr McCann often felt the same way in SSD. These relationships have always been what makes Grosvenor so special in my eyes, and teachers pass on knowledge about not just their subject, but about good values and worldly experiences. The opportunity to be Head Girl in my final year at Grosvenor has been so special to me, and despite the looming threat of A-Levels, it has been the best year by far. The chance to give back and contribute to school has been so rewarding, and I feel that both Reo and I have grown over the course of the year in navigating the role and the responsibilities, alongside the Deputy Head Prefects. I have always believed that you have to be a Venus Flytrap, not a wallflower, and grab any opportunities that come your way, regardless of insecurities or doubts that you may have, in order to grow as a person and to be able to help those around you. Grosvenor provides so many incredible opportunities, and with the support and guidance of staff and friends, you can grab them all to become your best self! I am forever grateful to have had this encouragement to achieve my goals, and I will always be so fond of the school and the values it embodies. me over the last seven years. The impact left upon me by teachers affects me every day for the better and the School is a massive reason for why I have grown into a confident and ambitious individual, be it through sport, the classroom, or just the overall positive environment that the community sets. As I move on to develop myself further in the finance industry, Grosvenor will always be an integral part of me. I am so grateful and I am forever proud to be a stag.
team in three major competitions. The opportunities were endless. Success in Grosvenor comes from taking hold of these opportunities and making the most of them while you can. To everyone who reads this, I would say throw yourself at everything and give it a shot. Do as much as you can because it only gets better. Appreciate what your teachers and peers do for you. Like myself, you will miss it when it is gone. I am truly indebted to Grosvenor for all that it has given

With all the opportunities that Grosvenor has provided me over the past seven years, I feel that I will always be indebted to the school for the memories
I have made and the friendships I have formed. From my first day in Year 8 up to now, the school community has always been so supportive and encouraging, and I would always say that the more you give to and are involved in school life, the more you get back! Whether it be new relationships, new skills or new experiences, the school life outside the classroom is really what makes Grosvenor so special. Being the only person from my primary school to come to Grosvenor was initially terrifying, though I will never forget Mrs Young coming to visit me and talk to me about how incredible the school is, which gave me the confidence to go in on my first day and push myself to speak to so many new people. So many of the friendships I formed have only become stronger, as well as the many new ones over the years. I remember being so eager to be involved in everything in Year 8, though my favourites were the Animal Club and Hockey. Though the Animal Club ceased activities many years ago, and I stopped playing hockey, I have never stopped feeling passionate about being involved in school life. The customary trip to Delamont still feels fresh in my mind, with Mr Smyth scaring me from behind a false gravestone in the pitch black forest and Mr Lendrum becoming momentarily stuck in the toothpaste tunnel in Tollymore. The Spanish trip to Barcelona, however, still holds the number one spot in my heart, for being so incredibly funny. Music was where I have undoubtedly spent a great portion of my time over the years, with the many choirs, Orchestra and String Ensemble, and the chances to learn, improve and be challenged, all of which has shaped me as a person. In my last year, I had the privilege to sing a solo in St Anne’s Cathedral and perform in the 80th Anniversary Spring Concert in the Ulster Hall, both of which are special memories
