great success and provide a sense of community to our pupils and families and visiting teams. Thanks to the commitment of our volunteers, it remains a valued source of fundraising from September to March. FoG also assisted at numerous school events throughout the year, providing refreshments at School Productions and Open Nights and engaging with prospective pupils and their families. We were pleased to run several recycled uniform sales during the year. These events remain extremely popular with families, offering an affordable way to purchase additional kit while promoting sustainability and reducing waste. They also provide a valuable source of income to support the life of the School.

The Friends of Grosvenor (FoG) aims to inform parents, provide social events and raise funds to support school initiatives. Our volunteers meet on the second Monday of each month during the school year to plan activities and oversee fundraising projects.

The school year concluded with our sponsored walk from Grosvenor to Victoria Park. Pupils in Years 8–11 took part to raise funds for the ongoing work of FoG. At the AGM in November 2024, Charlene Ahmed, Diane McGinnis and I were elected to the positions of Secretary, Treasurer and Chairperson respectively. Thanks to the continued generosity and support of parents and pupils, FoG was delighted to present Dr Vasey with £14,000 in November 2024 to contribute towards school projects. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported throughout the year and helped to raise this significant sum. I would also like to express my particular appreciation to the FoG members for their dedication and hard work throughout the year. Joanne Mitchell – Friends of Grosvenor Chairperson
