The Junior A & B Team Home to Wallace

The Junior A Team: Summer Moore, Casey Catherwood, Alex Robinson, and Cindy Han — had a strong season. Their first match was against Larne Grammar, where they delivered an excellent performance. Summer won her singles match 6-4, Casey 6-5, and Cindy 6-5, while Alex narrowly lost 6-4. In doubles, Summer and Casey won 6-4, and Alex and Cindy secured a 6-2 victory, giving us a 5-1 overall win. Next, they faced Wallace B at home and dominated with a 6-0 win, dropping only 15 games across all matches. Their final group match was another clean sweep, defeating Hunterhouse 6-0 and finishing top of

their section. This secured them a place in the Junior Cup quarter-finals against Killicomaine Junior High School. On a very wet Monday in June, the Junior A team played their final match of the season. Despite their best efforts, they were defeated by a strong Killicomaine side. Nonetheless, the team can be proud of their achievements and the progress they made throughout the season. Mrs C Hunter
