The first match was a friendly against Hoebridge School, a visiting school from England, on 16 Jan 2025. This was a very competitive match ending in a nail-biting draw. This was followed by a Blitz on 28 February 2025. With four matches being played, all club members had the opportunity to participate in the Blitz and gain invaluable competitive experience representing Grosvenor. We started strongly in our first match against St Joseph’s College securing a draw. We then lost against a very strong Strathearn School team. The girls learnt a lot from this match and came back stronger securing a win

against Wellington College. The final match was lost against Bloomfield Collegiate. I encourage all the girls who attended after-school netball practice this year to continue again next year. They have demonstrated great potential for future success, with their skills continuously evolving and their teamwork becoming more cohesive. I am excited to see how they continue to grow and excel in the coming years. Mrs C Hainsworth
