A Season of Growth and Determination The season began with the challenging task of selecting a new intermediate team from Year 11 and Year 12 pupils. Despite the hard work and determination shown by all players, not everyone could be selected for the matches. This process highlighted the potential and commitment within the squad. Following the stellar performance of the Junior Netball Team last year, the girls were promotedAg curve, with the blitz proving particularly challenging. However, the team displayed resilience and determination against formidable opponents. The team’s skills truly shone in the quarter-final of the Bowl. The match finished with an impressive 31-12 win against Lisneal College. The girls delivered an outstanding display of talent, with special recognition going to Hannah McKinstry and Abbie Heron. Their exceptional skills and gameplay were noted by the visiting umpire, underscoring their significant contributions to the team. Although the team did not achieve the same success in the semi-final, they can be immensely proud of their achievements. This season has been one of growth and learning, laying a strong foundation for future success. The determination

and teamwork displayed by the Intermediate Netball Team promise a bright future ahead. Looking forward, the players are eager to continue improving and they hope to achieve greater success. With the lessons learned this season, and the unwavering spirit of the players, the Intermediate Netball Team is poised to make even bigger strides in the coming years. Mrs H Prior
