CELEBRATING SUCCESS

80th Anniversary Celebrations The Academic Year 2024-25 was a special one in the life of the School as we marked 80 years since the school was founded by the Belfast Corporation. Back then, it was sited in Roden Street, off the Grosvenor Road, and remained there until 1958, when the present location was secured at Cameronian Drive. There were 112 pupils enrolled in Grosvenor in 1945 whereas we are now sitting above 1200 pupils. We took the opportunity City Hall Illuminated In GGS Colours

to mark this milestone in three distinct ways: Belfast City Hall was illuminated in GGS colours on 22 January 2025; we held a unique Spring Concert in the Ulster Hall in March; and the events were rounded off in style as we held a Gala Dinner in the Titanic Building on 31 May 2025. Sincere thanks to everyone who supported these various events.
