BALLYVESEY HOLDINGS Ballyvesey Holdings is the privately owned parent company of a wide range of trading subsidiaries. Established in 1970, the group’s main activities are centred around transport and logistics, truck sales and after sales support, trailer manufacturing and spare parts sales, transport industry services, construction equipment sales and service and property rental and development.

TRANSPORT In 1970 Montgomery Transport, the first Ballyvesey Holdings company, was established. Starting with one tractor unit, Montgomery Transport has continued to invest and develop over the past decades. The division now runs a large fleet of modern distribution and articulated vehicles offering unit loads, distribution services and bulk tanker movements. Recently, freight management has become an integral part of the transport division and has increased the span of services offered by the group. The transport division also provides high quality warehousing and total logistics solutions. TRAILERS In 1977 the first Montracon trailer was manufactured in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. Montracon is now one of the leading trailer manufacturers serving the UK, Ireland and export markets. Montracon offers a high quality, diverse product portfolio which includes all types of dry freight and refrigerated transport equipment. TRUCKS Ballyvesey Holdings entered the vehicle distribution sector in 1984 and, through focused organic growth and strategic acquisitions, the company now represents Scania, Mercedes and DAF from many locations throughout Great Britain. TRANSPORT SERVICES In 1988 Ballyvesey Holdings expanded to include a transport services division through the acquisition of Eurofleet, a trailer rental company. This division has grown in recent years and now includes Commercial Vehicle Auctions (CVA), SapphireVehicle Services (SVS) and Rockmount Vehicle Maintenance (RVM).


CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT In the 1990’s Ballyvesey entered the construction equipment sector. In 2003, the construction equipment division acquired Sleator Plant, the Northern Ireland dealer for Terex Compact Equipment. Since then, the division has grown to encompass five major plant dealerships covering the UK and Ireland with the capability to provide all major construction plant requirements. The Construction Equipment Division’s focus is not only to provide productive, reliable equipment, but also to provide the customer with a solutionwhich includes fast, reliable aftermarket service and support. RENTAL DIVISION Since the 1980’s Ballyvesey Holdings has provided customers with a reliable rental solution for their transport equipment needs. Centurion Truck Rental, DGC Truck Rental, DMC Trailers, Falcon Vehicle Solutions and Contract Plant Rental collectively form the division that continues to present their customer base with well maintained, high quality plant machinery, trailers, tractor units and other commercial vehicles of every type under rental agreements and contracts engineered to suit each customer’s individual requirements. PROPERTY LEASING AND DEVELOPMENT Since 1970 Ballyvesey Holdings has gradually added to its property portfolio throughout Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. A number of these properties are used to facilitate group operations whilst others are rented or leased to thirdparty tenants. BallyveseyHoldings Polskaoperates BallyveseyBusiness Park inRybnik, Southern Poland. Ballycraigy UK Properties and Ballycraigy Properties were formed in 2014 and 2016 respectively to further develop the commercial property solutions offered by the group. Montgomery Developments is responsible for the marketing and management of these multi purpose properties. ASSET FINANCE Ballyvesey Finance was established in 2000 to provide financial support to the Ballyvesey Group customers and to offer bespoke finance solutions for the diverse range of capital equipment manufactured and sold by the group.


MONTGOMERY TRANSPORT operates a full load transport service throughout the UK, Ireland and Western Europe. Utilising in excess of 700 trailers and 200 tractor units, the modern fleet provides a top quality and reliable service to all its customers from a diverse range of industries. The strategically located depots and fully trained staff in Newtownabbey, Dublin and Preston allow for a flexible approach in solving logistical challenges. The usage of all ferry routes on the Irish Sea and English Channel allows Montgomery Transport to ensure that a route to market is available for customers throughout the entire year. Montgomery Transport also offers a freight management division catering for the movement of specialist and worldwide land, sea and air consignments. TRANSPORT MONTGOMERY TANKSERVICES provides a complete bulk transportation service for liquid, powder and fuel products mainly between the UK and Ireland but also extending into Europe and serving internal GB movements. The main operating bases in Belfast and Preston, along with the depot network in Ireland and the UK, provide complete coverage. The fleet of 120 food grade tanker trailers are operated by fully trained staff who work in accordance with numerous Health and Safety and Quality systems. All Montgomery Tankservices’ accreditations and fleet details can be viewed on its website. Montgomery Tankservices aims to develop robust solutions with customers, based on quality, aligned with the best levels of service. MONTGOMERY DISTRIBUTION provides a range of distribution services both between the UK and Ireland but also internally in GB and Ireland. Various service levels are offered and the business handles single pallets, multi pallets, part loads and miscellaneous items incorporating a huge range of product type and sizes. Continual updating of the fleet allows the business to adapt to both market and customer demand and by focusing on training in its depots in Dublin, Newtownabbey, Preston, Leeds and Rugby, Montgomery Distribution seeks at all times to provide customers with the highest levels of service. To provide full geographical coverage Montgomery Distribution works with a number of strategic partners and is also a member of the

UK’s largest pallet network, Palletways.


MONTGOMERY FREIGHT MANAGEMENT Montgomery Freight Management offers a pan global supply chain solution encompassing air, road and sea freight through utilising our worldwide network to provide a seamless product offering for all its customers’ logistics requirements. Regardless of the simplicity or complexity of the logistics requirement, the supply chain solution provided by the company enables customers to focus on their core business. Montgomery Freight Management offers an integrated sea freight solution, whether LCL or FCL shipments from any origin to destination, with a local knowledge and service tailor-made to our individual client’s needs. The airfreight product consists of three tiers of service including express, standard and economy, thus providing customers with the most cost effective option to ensure a timely delivery. Our road services include LTL and FTL movements to and from all European countries. The road services provided extend to North Africa, Russia and Eastern Europe. In addition we can provide dedicated vehicles for time critical deliveries anywhere in Europe. Along with the above services, we also provide contract logistics comprising of warehouse sourcing and design, local distribution, pick and pack services, quality control and customs clearance. Montgomery Freight Management offers an abnormal load service for the out of gauge and overweight goods sector. Taking into account the comprehensive range of services provided, the experienced team provides a full suite of services to suit any client’s supply chain in an effective and professional manner.

MORREY OILS , founded in 1981, was acquired by Ballyvesey Holdings in March 2018 and provides both spot and contracted bulk tanker delivery solutions for fuel products and bitumen. The headquarters of the business has relocated to a new base in Ellesmere Port. Morrey Oils has 50 tanker combinations working daily from the oil and bitumen refineries across the North West and Midlands and prides itself on its close and long term relationships with its ‘Blue Chip’ client base whilst holding its own ISO9001 quality accreditation. The wide range of customers operate in construction, the supply of bitumen, retail fuel forecourts, marine vessels and fuel distributor depots.


TRAILERS MONTRACON has, since 1977, built up its product portfolio and brand presence and now operates from numerous sites in Ireland and Great Britain. With a measured expansion programme involving considerable investment in facilities and equipment, Montracon has ensured increasing production efficiency and maintained steady growth. The company prides itself on its production flexibility. With a blend of high technology, accumulated experience and traditional trailer manufacturing skills, Montracon probably has the widest range of trailers available from any of the major European players. Its production excellence is founded on solid engineering principles, with quality, reliability and longevity being the company’s underlying values. These values ensure that all trailers bearing the Montracon name are manufactured to the highest standards. The success of this approach manifests itself not only in the increasing number of customers for Montracon trailers, but also in the increasing number of customers who favour the company with repeat orders. As operators have grown to appreciate, Montracon is one company that does listen to its customers. It also collaborates with them on the continuous development of products and services – a process of on-going refinement designed to keep ahead of constantly changing market demands for increased efficiency and lower overall cost of operation. Trailer models range from the flat platform and all its variants, through to curtainsiders, box vans, skeletals, tippers and machinery carriers. Montracon also offers a rigid beavertail body that complements its machinery carrier range. In addition to its state of the art manufacturing facilities, Montracon has a dedicated refurbishment and repair facility near York, which offers accident repairs, refurbs (all makes and models), fabrication or bodywork repair and repaint or livery upgrades. To complement its aftersales service Montracon also has numerous parts depots located throughout the country which provide all makes of trailer parts.



WEST PENNINE TRUCKS is one of several independent dealer groups across the Scania network and has held the Scania franchise since 1986. Acquired by Ballyvesey Holdings in 1994, it is the North West’s largest, privately owned, authorised Scania dealer and covers the developing industrial area of Greater Manchester down into the more rural counties of Cheshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire. The West Pennine Trucks team provides the complete sales and aftersales support package and work side by side with some of the most recognisable brands in the UK. There are six depots - Middleton (North Manchester), Trafford Park (South Manchester), Stoke, Telford, Knighton and Oswestry, each of which has the latest workshop equipment and technology to keep customer operations running efficiently.

HEATHROW TRUCK CENTRE was acquired by Ballyvesey Holdings in 2007 and has enjoyed rapid expansion since then. Following further investment the resulting dealership network now includes Heathrow, Belvedere, Croydon, Hemel Hempstead, Luton, Oxford, Park Royal and Reading. The location of these operating centres ensures ease of accessibility to operators based around the M1, M4, M40, A1(M) corridors and within and around the M25 ring. HTC operates DAF truck and Fiat Professional Van franchises and dealerships, all of which offer sales of new and used trucks and vans, bespoke finance solutions, Repair and Maintenance contracts and aftersales support packages.


INTERCOUNTY TRUCK AND VAN sells, repairs and maintains new and used Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles. ITV now has 6 depots which offer a 24 hour parts service, servicing and repairs in order to keep its customers’ operations moving. Intercounty Truck and Van stock includes a vast selection of new and used X-Class, Sprinter, Citan and Vito vans as well as a range of Mercedes-Benz trucks. ITV operates out of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire with dealerships located in Boston, Lincoln, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, Toddington and Wellingborough. Financial services and packages are available to support vehicle hire and purchase, as well as use of aftersales services. MIDLANDS TRUCK AND VAN operates across the West Midlands and continues todevelop intooneof the largestMercedes-Benz dealers in theUK. Acquiredby Ballyvesey Holdings in 2011, MTV offers sales of new and used vehicles from the full range of Mercedes-Benz trucks and vans. The range includes the Citan, Vito, Sprinter and X-Class models, in addition to the Actros, Antos, Arocs, Atego and FUSO Canter vehicles. The team of highly skilled, trained and qualified professionals strive to offer a first class customer experience. Dealerships are conveniently located within the major motorway network at Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton and have extended opening hours, including 24 hour opening at the Wolverhampton branch, to

minimise any vehicle downtime.



COMMERCIAL VEHICLE AUCTIONS Commercial Vehicle Auctions is the UK’s leading auction house specialising in the pre-owned LGV and Light Commercial markets, as well as in the plant and equipment sectors. CVA has over 25 years’ experience of providing the best in comprehensive auction services to a diverse range of buyers and vendors, from well-known finance leasing and hire companies, through to local authorities, ‘Blue Chip’ organisations and fleet operators. Export buyers are welcomed using the online bidding facility and vehicles can also be marketed to CVA’s vast database of national and international buyers to assist the sales process. Auctions are held at the company’s purpose-built facilities in Doncaster, South Yorkshire and Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire where potential bidders are able to inspect the lots offered for sale. ROCKMOUNT VEHICLE MAINTENANCE With a heritage spanning almost 50 years in the commercial vehicle industry, RVM operates from a 23 bay, 35000 sq ft commercial vehicle garage located in Mallusk, Newtownabbey, adjacent to the M2 northbound carriageway. The combination of a state of the art workshop environment, skilled vehicle and trailer technicians, including body shop andmobile team, plus a new fleet management system, makes RVM a formidable presence in the commercial vehicle market; a one stop solution to light and heavy commercial vehicle operators. The workshop facilities are accredited to ISO 140001 Environmental / 180001 Health and Safety levels and are equipped to the highest standards. DGC VEHICLE RENTAL AND CONTRACT HIRE based in Belvedere, Kent offers a range of commercial vehicle hire options. DMC TRAILERS is a trailer hire and rental company which specialises in spot rental and long-term contract hire. It is best known for cold store and refrigerated trailer solutions but it also operates a fleet of trailers, including curtainsiders, flats and skeletals across a number of regions. DMC Trailers has over 15 years’ experience operating a growing fleet of over 900 trailers, mostly built new to customer specifications. CONTRACT PLANT RENTAL delivers bespoke, comprehensive contract plant rental solutions designed to meet the diverse needs of clients on an individual basis, ensuring each item of plant is completely suitable and safe to perform the task it is required to undertake. CPR offers medium and long term rental options for plant and equipment, concentrating on the ‘heavy end’ of the construction, aggregate and waste handling markets. Depending on the specification CPR can provide the customer’s preference of equipment and manufacturer, along with the full support of trained in-house engineering staff via the group’s construction and transport companies. CPR can provide a preventative maintenance scheme, adapted to each customer’s requirements. Along with the correct machine for the job, a range of attachments and aids are offered to ensure each machine meets all of the customer’s needs. If required, CPR also offers 24 hour and 7 days a week availability within mainland UK for parts and service. The sales team is available to respond to queries and give advice on specification and location of machines. CPR’s aim therefore is to meet all aspects of customers’ self-drive plant hire requirements.



SLEATOR PLANT Having undergone a production rationalisation almost 4 years ago, Sleator Plant has now established itself as one of the leading plant dealerships in Northern Ireland. The Mallusk-based dealer currently represents Mecalac (formerly Terex) site dumpers, rollers and backhoe loaders, Genie access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts and telehandlers and Terex Trucks articulated dump trucks. The Sleator Plant team is passionate about delivering excellent customer care and ensuring clients receive exceptional value for money. NORWEST PLANT Due to continued growth and expansion, Norwest Plant relocated to new premises in Wigan in 2015. The company is the leading Doosan dealership in the UK, regularly achieving high numbers of GB excavator sales. In 2016 Norwest Plant was approached by Mecalac to represent their brand and in 2017 Norwest Plant became the number one Mecalac dealership in the UK with a record number of dumper sales. The company also represents Bobcat mini excavators, skidsteers, tracked loaders and telehandlers. Over the past few years a significant investment has been made in the aftermarket function of the company to ensure all customers receive consistently excellent aftermarket care.

TDL EQUIPMENT covers GB with the full range of Atlas material handlers and wheel loaders, Terex Trucks articulated dump trucks, Sany tracked excavators and Genie telehandlers. In central and south Scotland TDL is also the appointed dealer for Mecalac products. All products are supported from after sales care dealerships located across the UK. This enables an extensive teamof mobile engineers to ensure effective, responsive customer support. TDL Equipment’s main depots are located in Tankersley, South Yorkshire, England and Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. Satellite support locations provide assistance in the southern part of GB.


PROPERTY LEASING AND DEVELOPMENT Ballyvesey Holdings holds an extensive portfolio of industrial, commercial, retail and residential properties throughout Ireland, GB and Europe.

MONTGOMERY DEVELOPMENTS is the trading company within the group which is responsible for the maintenance, management, marketing and leasing of property. Properties are leased to both subsidiary companies of Ballyvesey Holdings andmultiple external tenants. Ballycraigy UK Properties and Ballycraigy Properties were formed in 2014 and 2016 respectively to develop the commercial property solutions provided by the group. Various options are available for commercial properties, including retail, offices, warehousing and distribution hubs. Short term rental agreements or medium to long term leases are available, with some options for design and build solutions. WOODFIELD BUSINESS CENTRE was established in Carr Hill, Doncaster in 2007. With up to 30 secure semi-serviced offices located close to J3 on the M18 Doncaster corridor,Woodfield Business Centre offers flexible, innovative and effective office space solutions to local and national companies. BALLYVESEY HOLDINGS POLSKA , operating as Ballyvesey Business Park, and located in Rybnik, Southern Poland, offers a variety of commercial premises for both short and long term leasing options. Ballyvesey Business Park is situated a short distance away from key transport networks - the north and south motorway (A1) and the east and west motorway (A4). The local airports are conveniently located nearby in Katowice and Krakow. Since 2005, Ballyvesey Business Park has provided commercial space for rent, including offices, conference rooms, co-working spaces, warehousing, storage yards and parking areas. The tenant base is comprised of nearly 40 companies – several of these are tenants of longstanding who enjoy the location, high level of services, technical support and flexible co-operation terms they receive.


ASSET FINANCE Ballyvesey Finance is available to support customers and arrange finance for all varieties of businesses and assets. The Ballyvesey Finance team can negotiate the underwriting and rates which ultimately saves clients time and money, through the company’s strong relationships with a panel of over twenty active funders. The team at BF possesses the knowledge to understand the services provided by funders and aims to present the most appropriate solution, including in the case of existing funders being already fully exposed, unavailable to lend or too inflexible in the terms they offer.
